Mrs. McCarl is a graduate from Pacific Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. She also holds a Masters Degree from Lesley University in Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. McCarl has been teaching general music and choir at St. Vincent de Paul School since 1999. In 2005, Mrs. McCarl co-founded the St. Vincent de Paul Drama Troupe and continues to direct acting, dancing, and singing through musical theater for junior high students. Mrs. McCarl is also the musical director for Friendship Theater, an inclusive program in Federal Way, giving actors of all abilities the opportunity to experience the magic of theater. In her spare time, Mrs. McCarl enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, Saturday mornings with a good cup of coffee and yacht rock radio, and going for long walks outdoors.
